Making a difference year-round
P.U.R.P.O.S.E. Incorporated offers a diverse range of year-round programs designed to uplift and support various members of our community. From fostering youth development to providing essential community outreach, our initiatives aim to create positive, lasting impacts.
Youth empowerment
We encourage youth to improve their grades, make positive choices, and realize their potential through educational trips, school visits, and mentoring. We teach them that their future is bigger than their circumstances.
Community outreach
Our outreach includes Easter activities, family events, free haircuts, and crucial support for women and children in shelters, ensuring essential needs are met and spirits are lifted.
Senior support
We extend our care to senior citizens through various programs, including our annual Senior Thanksgiving event, ensuring they feel valued and connected within the community.
Beyond the annual Toy & Bike Drive
While our Annual Toy & Bike Drive brings joy during the holidays, our commitment to the community spans the entire year. We provide continuous support through educational opportunities, cultural experiences, school encouragement, mentoring, and direct community assistance. Our programs create opportunities, build confidence, strengthen families, and ensure everyone knows someone cares.
Our Annual Toy & Bike Drive
Our largest program, the Annual Toy & Bike Drive, provides toys, bicycles, food, free haircuts, games, face painting, and family activities during the Christmas season. We serve hundreds of children and families, making every child feel special during the holidays.
Stories of impact
One of the greatest differences P.U.R.P.O.S.E. Incorporated makes is simply showing children that someone will continue to show up for them. We attend sporting events to support and encourage children whose families might not be able to, check on students at school, encourage better grades, and reward accomplishments with educational trips and new experiences. We've seen children light up when they feel remembered, celebrated, or given an opportunity they never had. These smiles, whether from receiving a bicycle at Christmas or experiencing a new educational trip, remind us why we've continued this work for over 26 years. Our impact is measured by the lives we touch and the belief we instill in people.
